Barga Jazz 2022 – Pagine Vere

Pagine Vere nasce dalla pluriennale collaborazione tra il pianista e compositore Giovanni Ceccarelli e la cantante ed autrice Michela Lombardi.

I due artisti lavorano da anni insieme, con l’obiettivo di dare una nuova forma alle composizioni del pianista, grazie ai testi della cantante. Michela Lombardi è un’interprete raffinata e di rara sensibilità, con illustri collaborazioni in veste di vocalist e di autrice, come quelle con Phil Woods e Kenny Wheeler.

Giovanni Ceccarelli ha all’attivo undici album a proprio nome e ha ottenuto una nomination ai Latin Grammy Awards. Nel corso delle incisioni per l’album “Animantiga”, Giovanni conosce e collabora per la prima volta con il chitarrista Luca Falomi, artista che mette la sua spiccata sensibilità sempre al servizio della musica.

Il repertorio di Pagine Vere si avvale di testi scritti anche da Max De Tomassi, Stéphane Casalta, André Carvalho e Ciara Arnette in lingua italiana, inglese, francese, portoghese e corsa.


 

Giovanni Ceccarelli | Michela Lombardi | Luca Falomi

Pagine Vere was born from the artistic collaboration between the pianist and composer Giovanni Ceccarelli and the singer and lyricist Michela Lombardi.

The two artists have been working together for years, with the aim of creating a repertoire of original music. Michela Lombardi is an accomplished performer of rare musical sensitivity, with illustrious collaborations as singer and songwriter, such as those with Phil Woods and Kenny Wheeler. Giovanni Ceccarelli has released thirteen albums under his own name and has been nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards.

While recording the album “Animantiga”, Giovanni meets and collaborates for the first time with guitarist Luca Falomi, an artist who brings into this project his very fine and delicate musicianship.

Pagine Vere‘s repertoire also includes lyrics by Max De Tomassi, Stéphane Casalta, André Carvalho and Ciara Arnette. The group’s music features lyrics in Italian, English, French, Portuguese and Corsican.
