Back in February 2022 we published an article about the monthly market in which appeared the following words:
Every month we publish a series of images from the market held in Barga every second Sunday in the month.
Some months there is a good influx of people, some months less.
In amongst the usual Barbie dolls, bric a brac, Mussolini busts and religious icons, this month some new people are now arriving to take part in the market but the weather is still playing some terrible games …. maybe next month will be better ?
Little did we know that there would be a gap of three years due to the Covid restrictions before once again the market traders returned to the city.
This Sunday they were back.

Ogni mese pubblichiamo una serie di immagini del mercato che si tiene a Barga ogni secondo domenica del mese.
Alcuni mesi c’è un buon afflusso di persone, altri mesi meno.
Tra le solite bambole Barbie, oggetti vari, busti di Mussolini e icone religiose, questo mese stanno arrivando nuove persone per partecipare al mercato, ma il tempo sta ancora facendo brutti scherzi… forse il prossimo mese sarà migliore?
Poco sapevamo che ci sarebbe stato un’interruzione di tre anni a causa delle restrizioni legate al Covid prima che i commercianti del mercato tornassero in città.
Questa domenica sono tornati.
