As the summer season gradually starts to make itself felt in the city, another season comes to a close – that of the Barga Jazz Club.
The club situated right in the heart of Barga Vecchia is fully sound proofed so that the music stays in the club and does not cause interference to people outside.
All well andgood during the cooler winter months but as soon as the temperature starts to rise, the windows on the club are opened and the sound proofing is no more.
This evening was a close of season jam session with most of the favourite jazz musicians on hand to give the season a good send off.

Mentre la stagione estiva inizia gradualmente a farsi sentire in città, un’altra stagione giunge al termine: quella del Barga Jazz Club.
Il club situato proprio nel cuore di Barga Vecchia è completamente insonorizzato in modo che la musica rimanga nel club e non crei disturbo alle persone all’esterno.
Tutto bene e bello durante i mesi più freddi dell’inverno, ma non appena la temperatura inizia a salire, le finestre del club vengono aperte e l’insonorizzazione non è più efficace.
Questa sera è stata una jam session di fine stagione con la maggior parte dei musicisti jazz preferiti presenti per dare alla stagione un bel congedo.
