Well, now we are in the third week of April and just a week ago we were enjoying the warm spring sun with the swallows hovering above us, the flowers blooming colorful and the insects that were starting to make themselves felt, but this morning the snow came – the cold came – the winter decided to make another unexpected visit.
The majestic mountains around us are now covered and whitewashed by snow.
The images are fascinating because they show in the same photograph the winter tones of the mountains dominated by snow in the background, but the fresh and vibrant spring greens in the foreground.
We really live in extraordinary times

Beh, ora siamo nella terza settimana di aprile e solo una settimana fa ci godevamo il caldo sole primaverile con le rondini che si libravano sopra di noi, i fiori che sbocciavano colorati e gli insetti che cominciavano a farsi sentire, ma stamattina è arrivata la neve – il freddo è arrivato – l’inverno ha deciso di farci un’altra inattesa visita.
Le maestose montagne intorno a noi sono ora coperte e imbiancate dalla neve.
Le immagini sono affascinanti perché mostrano nella stessa fotografia i toni invernali delle montagne sovrastate dalla neve sullo sfondo, ma i freschi e vivaci verdi primaverili in primo piano.
