Il workshop con l’artista Chico Molo ( aka Ronald Chin-Shue)
Il primo progetto è stato quello di creare un laboratorio di due giorni con i bambini della scuola infantile Filecchio per celebrare la giornata internazionale del colore e la giornata della creatività.
Il primo giorno abbiamo usato una tela quadrata di 1m x 1m per creare un Mandalla o il nostro pianeta, disegnando un grande cerchio. Sulla tela piatta abbiamo aggiunto oggetti sulla superficie della tela, gli oggetti sono stati riciclati, buttare via materiali piatti con texture. ad esempio contenitori alimentari lavorati in plastica, corde, metalli, alimenti come pasta, carta tissue e altri oggetti trovati. Abbiamo spruzzato la superficie della tela con acqua e iniettato i nostri colori umidi utilizzando siringhe, mettendo i colori sotto gli oggetti e la superficie della tela. La superficie bagnata crea una tensione tra la superficie e l’oggetto che attira il colore.
Chico ha studiato stampaggio d’arte e Photo-media presso la scuola d’arte Central Saint Martins, Londra 1995-98. Si è trasferito in Italia nel 2018.
Una volta che i colori si erano asciugati, gli oggetti venivano rimossi lasciando dietro i segni degli oggetti.
Questo workshop riguardava il cambiamento climatico, la cultura Vs Nature e i segni che lasciamo alle spalle. Il workshop è stato un successo completo che i bambini si sono divertiti a creare l’equilibrio tra cultura, natura e colori.
Il secondo giorno abbiamo utilizzato lo stesso processo per creare un paesaggio di stampa-pittura di Barga. Ancora una volta i bambini si sono divertiti a imparare.
Questo processo di creazione dell’arte è il mio linguaggio visivo che ho sviluppato a Londra. Il colore ha la sua vita se permettiamo di vivere attraverso il processo. Il lavoro ha un significato, un messaggio e una voce se ascoltiamo.

The Workshop with Artist Chico Molo (aka Ronald Chin-Shue)
The first project was to create a two-day workshop with the children of the Filecchio kindergarten to celebrate International Color Day and Creativity Day.
On the first day, we used a 1m x 1m square canvas to create a Mandala or our planet by drawing a large circle. On the flat canvas, we added objects to the surface of the canvas, using recycled materials and discarded flat objects with textures. Examples include processed plastic food containers, ropes, metals, foods like pasta, tissue paper, and other found objects. We sprayed the surface of the canvas with water and injected our wet colors using syringes, placing the colors under the objects and on the canvas surface. The wet surface creates a tension between the surface and the object that draws the color.
Chico studied art molding and Photo-media at Central Saint Martins School of Art, London, from 1995 to 1998. He moved to Italy in 2018.
Once the colors dried, the objects were removed, leaving behind the imprints of the objects.
This workshop was about climate change, culture versus nature, and the marks we leave behind. The workshop was a complete success, and the children enjoyed creating a balance between culture, nature, and colors.
I became an artist the moment the work came through me and not from me.

On the second day, we used the same process to create a print-painting landscape of Barga. Once again, the children enjoyed learning.
This process of creating art is my visual language that I developed in London. Color has its own life if we allow it to live through the process. The work has meaning, a message, and a voice if we listen.
