Midnight Fireworks at the Duomo in Barga
The new year in Barga was welcomed at midnight with fireworks set off around the Duomo in Barga Vecchia. As the clock struck twelve, sparks and rockets lit up the night sky above the cathedral, echoing through the narrow streets.
Smoke drifted across the piazza as people gathered around the walls and along the open spaces to watch the display. Fireworks exploded both at ground level and high above the bell tower, briefly lighting the stone façade of the Duomo.
After a short but intense display, the fireworks faded, the smoke slowly cleared, and Barga Vecchia returned to its usual quiet — marking the start of the new year in the heart of the city.

Fuochi d’artificio di mezzanotte al Duomo di Barga
Il nuovo anno a Barga è stato accolto a mezzanotte con i fuochi d’artificio accesi attorno al Duomo di Barga Vecchia. Allo scoccare della mezzanotte, scintille e razzi hanno illuminato il cielo notturno sopra la cattedrale, riecheggiando tra le strette vie del centro storico.
Il fumo si è diffuso nella piazza mentre le persone si radunavano lungo le mura e negli spazi aperti per assistere allo spettacolo. I fuochi sono esplosi sia a livello del suolo sia in alto sopra il campanile, illuminando per brevi istanti la facciata in pietra del Duomo.
