By the eighth evening of Le Piazzette 2026, Barga Vecchia had once again become a place to explore on foot, with six performances drawing people through different parts of the historic centre.
The evening’s programme ranged from rock and acoustic music to a Mexican-themed night:

• PIAZZETTA RANDAGIA – Utopia
• PIAZZETTA G.SUMMER – Velvet Swing
• PIAZZETTA SUNSET BEACH – The History of Rock
• PIAZZETTA BRUSKETTANDO – The Shameless
• PIAZZA ANNUNZIATA – Almost Famous
Rather than remaining in front of a single stage, visitors could follow the programme from one location to another, stopping for food and meeting people along the way. The result was an evening shaped as much by movement through Barga Vecchia as by the individual performances.
Museums, galleries, exhibitions and other cultural spaces also remained open, adding another dimension to the night and offering an opportunity to encounter the art and history of the city between concerts.
The event marked the eighth evening of the eleven-night festival, organised by Pro Loco Barga and the Comune di Barga in collaboration with local associations and businesses.
The evening shuttle will remain in operation for the rest of Le Piazzette, running from 7 pm until midnight. It connects the parking areas near the sports grounds and other points outside the centre with the entrances to Barga Vecchia.
Giunta all’ottava serata, Le Piazzette 2026 ha trasformato ancora una volta Barga Vecchia in un percorso da scoprire a piedi, con sei spettacoli distribuiti in diversi punti del centro storico.

Invece di fermarsi davanti a un unico palco, i visitatori hanno potuto seguire il programma spostandosi da un luogo all’altro, facendo tappa per mangiare e incontrare altre persone lungo il percorso. È stata quindi una serata caratterizzata tanto dal movimento attraverso Barga Vecchia quanto dalle singole esibizioni.
Sono rimasti aperti anche musei, gallerie, mostre e altri spazi culturali, aggiungendo un’ulteriore dimensione alla serata e offrendo l’occasione di avvicinarsi all’arte e alla storia della città tra un concerto e l’altro.
L’appuntamento ha segnato l’ottava serata degli undici giorni della manifestazione, organizzata dalla Pro Loco Barga e dal Comune di Barga in collaborazione con associazioni e attività locali.
Per tutto il resto delle Piazzette continuerà inoltre il servizio serale di navetta, attivo dalle 19 a mezzanotte. Il collegamento unisce i parcheggi vicini agli impianti sportivi e altri punti esterni al centro con gli ingressi di Barga Vecchia.
