The ceremonial tape was cut this Saturday on the Fosso just outside the walls of Barga vecchia as a new ambulance was officially welcomed into the fleet of the Misericordia del Volontariato del Barghigiano.
The small size of the ambulance means that it can enter the narrow streets of Barga Vecchia and any of the other smaller hamlets and villages in the area.
