On the occasion of the 30th annual Fiaccolata – the torchlight procession held at Gallicano this weekend there was an added attraction of a concert of live music, which should have taken place outside in the Piazza but due to the inclement conditions was moved inside to the sala Guazzelli.
Featured amongst the four groups on stage that evening were The Salamanders – the majority of this group coming from Barga and all of their songs written by two members of the band – Tortelli and Lugliani (no cover band this time but some real music).
Noah has featured on barganews in the past with other versions of his bands (article here) but The Salamanders is a brand new version as it was formed in October with the drummer only joining them last month in November but already they are starting to make some waves on the local music circuit.
