Its a hot summer afternoon in Barga Vecchia and very few people are braving the streets waiting probably for the cooler air later in the day but outside the unofficial cultural centre of Barga at Da Aristo, things are bubbling hot.
A dozen Scandinavian women, mainly from Denmark are relaxing, enjoying the beer and are in full song.
According to their site (here) the Chilli Chicks is “an exuberant choir consisting of beautiful chicks with solid experience in performing in venues in Greater Copenhagen, Denmark, the choir sings its own pop and rock events.”
A quick check of their site reveals a group of over 30 women in the Chilli Chicks, but for the moment a dozen are here in this area over the next few days recording tracks for a CD at Søren Bundgaard’s SB Studio recording studios in Molazzana (site here)
