Giovedì 25 agosto per il BargaJazz Festival è di scena il trio del trombonista Filippo Vignato.

‘A powerful trio of youngsters who cross territories with bold drive, alternating temperatures and temperaments, thereby leaving striking sonic footprints’ that’s what Italian trombonist Filippo Vignato european trio is about according to All About Jazz.
Founded in 2014 alongside French pianist Yannick Lestra on fender Rhodes and synths and Hungarian percussionist Attila Gyarfas on drums and electronics, the band freely travels a sonic universe where the acoustic and electric dimensions merge and overlap and where improvisational sensitivity redefines in real time the musical narration, never equal to itself and in continuous evolution.
The three musicians, constantly pushing themselves towards the unexpected and the unpredictable, act collectively in a breezy dialogue between spacey ballads, ipnotic grooves and radical improvisation.
Heidelberg – Live at Enjoy Jazz is their latest album recorded live at the Enjoy Jazz Festival in Germany.Released in summer 2020 by italian avatgarde label Auand, the issue celebrates the fifth anniversary of the band and comes 4 years after the release of Plastic Breath, the multi-awarded debut album of the ensemble.
They performed some of the most relevant Italian and European stages such as Novara Jazz, Crossroads, Musica Sulle Bocche, Cormons Jazz&Wine of Peace, Ferrara Jazz, Burghausen Jazzwoche, Enjoy Jazz Festival, 12Points Festival, Amsterdam Bimhuis, Belgrade Jazz Festival.

Fondato nel 2014 a fianco del pianista francese Yannick Lestra e del batterista ungherese Attila Gyarfas, il trio europeo del trombonista italiano Filippo Vignato presenta un universo sonoro dove le dimensioni acustica ed elettrica si fondono e si sovrappongono e dove la sensibilità improvvisata ridefinisce in tempo reale la narrazione musicale, mai uguale a se stessa ed in continuo divenire. Spingendosi senza sosta verso l’inaspettato e l’imprevedibile.

Nel settembre 2016 è stato pubblicato per Auand Records il primo album del trio nonché disco di esordio da leader per Filippo, dal titolo ‘Plastic Breath’, considerato unanimemente dagli addetti ai lavori come una delle migliori pubblicazioni dell’anno.
Filippo Vignato ha vinto il premio Miglior Nuovo Talento del Top Jazz 2016, il referendum della critica indetto da Musica Jazz, la più importante rivista italiana di jazz ed il trio ha vinto lo European Young Artists Jazz Award 2017 di Burghausen (DE).
Nel 2019 è l’artista italiano selezionato per il 12 Points Festival 2019 tenutosi presso il Bimhuis di Amsterdam.
