After the large earth tremor on Friday (article here) , the ground continues to shake in this area with a seemingly continuous series of tremors over the last 36 hours, most of which are only felt by machines but 2 hours minutes ago there was a larger tremor which was felt quite distinctly in Barga Vecchia and caused some inhabitants to momentarily leave their houses.
The epicentre was once again further up the valley between Casola in Lunigiana, Giuncugnano and Minucciano – 3.8 on the Richter scale and at a depth of nearly 10 kms
UPDATE 17.06 – Just 5 minutes ago, another tremor, this time even stronger – 4.4 on the Richter scale and once again at a depth of nearly 10 kms below Minucciano.
