Students from the Florida State University with Dr. Jerrold Pope and his Institute Barga during their concert at the Teatro dei Differenti, Barga this evening.

Located in the mountains of Tuscany, the beautiful Medici town of Barga provides an inspiring locale for this intensive language based program for aspiring singers and accompanists. Besides the month-long Italian course, the program also offered a recitative seminar in which secco and accompanied recitative techniques, libretto declamation, and poetic recitation were addressed and practiced.
