The renewal of Barga Vecchia continues with yet another commercial venture opening its doors to the public, this time in Piazza Angelio. Work started this morning on restructuring the inside of one of the buildings facing onto the piazza next to L’Osteria
The premises should be completed before the summer but just what will be their intended use is something of a mystery.
Word on the street is split between a couple of possibilities. As we reported back in February, Antonio Chiappa the barber is still looking for premises in Barga Vecchia …could he be keeping the hair well trimmed in Piazza Angelio shortly? hmmm, nobody knows for sure.
Some less generous minded people consider the possibility of maybe a new shoe shop but for the moment the Architect Massimilano Lancani when questioned this morning outside the premises was keeping uncharacteristically very quiet on the subject. Watch this space for further details.
