One of the positive effects of living in a medieval walled city with steep and narrow streets between the houses is of course very little traffic.

One of the negative effects of living in a medieval walled city with steep and narrow streets between the houses is of course, sometimes moving things around becomes somewhat difficult.

Such is the case when winter arrives and those who heat their house with wood have problems actually getting the wood to the house.

Just have a look at the video below and marvel as the technical skill of the tractor driver reversing up the hill and into a doorway with just a few centimetres to spare on  either side.
