Lord Provost of Edinburgh in Barga

The visit this morning by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, the Rt. Hon. Lesley Hinds, has further strengthened the historic links between Barga and Scotland.

She was here to open the exhibition "Amicizia Bargo-Scozzese" and the new living quarters for guests at San Francesco.

During her speech of welcome at the Palazzo Pancrazi she launched a new initiative for collaboration between the four cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland and Florence and Barga for Italy. More images here
