Giorgio Cella becomes Dott.Cella
Stories about Giorgio have appeared on barganews a few times ... he and his loud studio in Barga Vecchia are difficult to ignore .....

This time he makes the pages of barganews for a different reason.
Giorgio Cella has recently become Dott. Giorgio Cella as he has passed his degree and become Doctor Cella.
His large thesis was written on the subject of Dante's Divina Commedia with special emphasis on illustration from 1300 to today. Full article and more images are here

What does Giorgio mean by "Italian Spoken". Does he mean "Fuck off foreigners". If so it's a pretty funny type of irony.

barganews has gradually been opening up so that you can post your comments freely .. the forum, the many blogs now on the site and these comments sections for every story. When they were installed some people were worried that allowing free access would lead to abuses.
So swearing has just arrived on barganews ... you are the first.
Not that much of a problem for me actually (you notice I have not deleted your comments ) but what I would like very much is that you register under a name so that the comments do not appear under the name "anonymous"
You have written two comments on the front page this morning both of which in a negative light ... this is fine, I repeat, no problem, but it would be fairer if people could see that both comments were from the same person and not two disgruntled people ..... eh ? what do you say ? sound reasonable ?

I agree with db's points above, swearing shouldn't be allowed. But why can't barganews filter out swear words on the site. I know they do at work.

Italian Spoken:- Dear anonymous, the sign was put up after several tourists, here as part of a language course holiday asked where they could go to practise their Italian without some bilingual Samaritan stepping in to help them out.
