LA SERVA PADRONA Carnevale a teatro The Elisir di Teatro company brought the carnival to the theatre this evening with a visually stunning and mixed show featuring the talents of Jonathan Peter Kelly – controtenore – and the Orchestra Frescobaldi This was followed by the LA SERVA PADRONA by G.B. Pergolesi – Alessandro Calamai and Ornella Pratesi along with Piero Nannini as Vespone and Sara Vannelli – ballet. Fabrizio Datteri played the clavicembalo Many of the audience in the Teatro dei Differenti were masked or in costume making it a special evening and one which will be continued in the future. The carnival tradition is back, alive and thriving in Barga.
