Exhibition of oil paintings by the local artist Marisa Firato opened this afternoon at the Galleria Comunale.
More than 50 oil paintings were on show – mainly local landscapes and views in and around Barga but also one or two portraits and all with a deft hand for design and colour. With temperatures in the high 30's this afternoon, the winter landscapes showing Barga covered in a snowy mantle were a refreshing change.
The exhibition is until the 27th July at the Galleria Comunale
