The series of events taking place since the opening of the Hotel Villa Moorings have been long and varied with Scottish evenings, Jazz, and card playing tournaments, but this evening was the one that really hit the button – Felipe and the Cuban Sound. A trio – keyboards, guitar and Felipe on voice and percussion but sounding as though they were a group with at least 5 members.
The liberty style villa was somehow the perfect place to hear Cuban music. For some reason it fitted. It just needed a 50's large American car in the background somewhere and a cigar smoking, white Panama hatted person, daiquiri in hand leaning up against the tree by the swimming pool to make it a complete picture.
