Marzocco sits and waits

Da Aristo the Comic

An anonymous comment left on the website during the summer was part of the catalyst that has spawned a new feature on barganews. The comment lamented the fact that according to him or her, there was more to Barga than just the historic centre and so barganews should be publishing articles from further afield and not just articles on art exhibitions, jazz musicians and the goings-on at Aristo's bar. The comic strip Da Aristo just went into production – there is now a talented group of writers working on this project so over the next few weeks we should start to see in which direction the story progresses. A link at the bottom of the front page on the left-hand side will take you directly to DA ARISTO or just click on the image below

  1. Da Aristo is a great idea. Should be closer to the top. I note in today’s Nazione that the media terror campaign, warning against a Gypsy (Rom) invasion of the Garfagnana continues into its third successive week of lurid daily “exposes” — despite the fact that the invasion so far consists of exactly 9 people in Castelnuovo, half of them children. As Marzocco says, “We must be vigilant!”

  2. It’s so terrifying that I am not myself anymore

    That why I feel secure

If they take me away then it doesn’t matter

    They haven’t really taken me

My real me is locked up safe and sound

Um.. maybe it’s better me not being really me.

    Otherwise I’d be locked up

This way I only get locked up if they kidnap me
