Rosalba Maccianti, originally from Piedmont but has been living and working in this area for some time (last exhibition in Barga was in 2007 – article here) Sergio Fini is from Fornaci di Barga and has featured many times on barganews – both for his paintings and poetry and his continuing work with the theatre group Papalagi (article here) – Sergio’s website is here. Both artists are here in Barga this week exhibiting their last creations along with some of the students who have been studying with them in the studio in Fornaci di Barga – Miria Biagioni, Mirko Carpita, Marco Casci and Maria Togneri.
