The fifth edition of the “Dal Serchio agli appennini” organised by the polisportiva Val di Lago, Gruppo Marciatori Barga and the Comune of Barga was held this morning across a good part of Barga running from down at the river at the bottom of the valley all the way up to the Vetricia up on the Appennino hills.
15 runners started the first part of the course down at the river before handing over to 15 mountain bike riders waiting outside Bar Sport in Barga Giardino.
They then continued the race before they too handed over to the 15 horses and riders waiting patiently just above Barga who then carried on riding up to the finishing line at La Vetricia.
