The animals are once again attempting to get into the barganews vegetable garden. This time it is no longer the porcupines or badgers which are causing the problems but something a little larger. The top wire of the electric fence was snapped during the night – probably by a deer or maybe a wild boar. No damage done inside the garden, the electric shock must have done its work. Fingers crossed for the next time. Below is a small experimental video shot using the iphone and some software called qik which streams the video in real time up to a webpage, to facebook and twitter all at the same time and all without having to do anything except click one button.
