Summer Music Festival & Masterclass For any wind chamber ensemble – Barga, 26th to 31st July 2011
Music in Tuscany is a summer programme of lessons and concerts designed for wind chamber ensembles, in the stunning Medieval hilltop town of Barga.
We are using a dedicated new music school (site here) with fantastic new facilities, kindly made possible by the director of Barga’s music school, Massimo Salotti.
At the discretion of the teachers, an informal audition will be held on the first day of the course to organise groupings.

All participants will have the opportunity to perform at an end of course concert in Barga’s Teatro Dei Differenti.

Music in Tuscany è un programma estivo di lezioni e concerti progettati su misura per gruppi vari di musica da camera, dal duo al quintetto. Inoltre, ha luogo nella bellissima città medioevale di Barga, arroccata sulle montagne verdi della Toscana. .
Per l’occasione, godiamo di una rinnovata scuola di musica ad hoc, resa disponibile dal Comune di Barga e dal direttore della Scuola di Musica di Barga, il Maestro Massimo Salotti.
A seguito di un’audizione informale il primo giorno del corso, verranno organizzati i gruppi.
