We wish to get your attention, hoping you heed the warnings as follows:
Your medium of communication you all so dearly adore will be destroyed. If you are a willing hacktivist or a guy who just wants to protect the freedom of information then join the cause and kill Facebook for the sake of your own privacy.
Facebook has been selling information to government agencies and giving clandestine access to information security firms so that they can spy on people from all around the world. Some of these so-called whitehat infosec firms are working for authoritarian governments, such as those of Egypt and Syria.
Everything you do on Facebook stays on Facebook regardless of your “privacy” settings, and deleting your account is impossible, even if you “delete” your account, all your personal info stays on Facebook and can be recovered at any time. Changing the privacy settings to make your Facebook account more “private” is also a delusion. Facebook knows more about you than your family.
You cannot hide from the reality in which you, the people of the internet, live in. Facebook is the opposite of the Antisec cause. You are not safe from them nor from any government. One day you will look back on this and realize what we have done here is right, you will thank the rulers of the internet, we are not harming you but saving you.
Think for a while and prepare for a day that will go down in history. November 5 2011

Gli hacker di Anonymous hanno giurato di distruggere facebook il prossimo 5 novembre. O meglio, qualcuno ha creato un account su twitter ed un canale su youtube per annunciare il piano soprannominato “Operazione Facebook”.
In un video postato su youtube il gruppo di hacker avvisa: “Il mezzo di comunicazione che tutti voi adorate sarà distrutto. Se siete degli hacktivist (hacker attivisti, ndr) volenterosi o gente che semplicemente vuole proteggere la libertà di informazione, unitevi alla causa…”

Cittadini del mondo, attenzione. Vorremmo avere la vostra attenzione nella speranza che teniate conto gli avvertimenti che seguono: il mezzo di comunicazione che tutti voi adorate sarà distrutto. Se siete degli hacktivist volenterosi o gente che semplicemente vuole proteggere la libertà di informazione, unitevi alla causa ed uccidete facebook per il bene della privacy.
Facebook ha venduto informazioni alle agenzie di governo e ha dato accesso clandestinamente ad altre società così che possono spiare chiunque.
Alcune di queste società collaborano per governi autoritari come l’Egitto e la Siria.
Tutto ciò che fate su Facebook rimane su Facebook, a prescindere dalle vostre impostazioni sulla privacy, e cancellare il vostro account e’ impossibile; anche se lo eliminate tutte le informazioni personali rimangono su facebook e possono essere recuperate in qualsiasi momento.
Cambiare le impostazioni sulla privacy per rendere il vostro account ancor più “privato” è solo un’illusione.
Facebook sa su di voi più cose che della vostra famiglia. Non vi potete nascondere dalla realtà in cui voi, popolo di internet, vivete. Facebook è l’esatto contrario del movimento Antisec.
Non siete al sicuro né da loro, né da nessun governo.
Un giorno ripenserete a ciò e vi accorgerete che quello che abbiamo fatto è giusto e ringrazierete i padroni di internet; non vi stiamo danneggiando ma salvando.
Pensateci e preparatevi ad un giorno che rimarrà nella storia: il 5 novembre 2011.
