Thick acrid smoke over a good part of Gallicano this evening as an industrial unit caught fire belonging to SAETT in Via G. Bartolini on the industrial estate close to the main road running through Gallicano.
SAETT is a company specialised in the installation of electrical systems for boilers, heating systems and automated gates
Four units from the fire brigade arrived quickly on the scene and brought the fire under control but not before the building and its contents were seriously damaged.
There were no reports of any casualties although there was some concern expressed by local residents living nearby for the acrid smoke with hung over the area for a good part of the evening.
It is still unclear how the fire started.
Questa sera buona parte dell’abitato di Gallicano è stata invasa uno spesso fumo acre, sprigionatosi da un incendio che si è sviluppato nel capannone della ditta Saett, nell’area artigianale.
Quattro squadre dei vigili del fuoco sono giunte immediatamente sul posto e hanno domato le fiamme ma l’edificio e quanto contenuto sono rimasti comunque danneggiati.
Le cause dell’incendio restano per il momento sconosciute
