Many people were woken up this morning just after 4 am but a strong earth tremour felt right across the region. Details will follow. No reports of damage so far.
As you can see from the image from the Stazione Sismica in Lucca, the ground was still shaking 40 minutes later with a series of smaller after shocks. The epicentre was near to Bologna and registered 5.9 Richter
Una forte scossa di terremoto è stata avvertita poco fa a Padova ed in tutto il resto del Veneto. Il movimento, di tipo sussultorio, è durato una ventina di secondi, facendo uscire le persone dalle case. L scossa è stata percepita distintamente anche a Milano e in altre zone della Lombardia. Poche ore fa, un’altra scossa di terremoto del 4,1 aveva interessato la zona tra Mantova, Rovigo e Modena.
