The following email and images arrived in the office this morning sent in from a resident living up above Barga close to Tiglio where the recent terrible winter weather has left a mark which is still causing problems for some transport up in the mountains
These are images of the current state of the road which was “chiusa per frana” for a frana which occurred on March 30th.
The Chiusa per frana image was taken April 1, 2013.
The following images entitled frana were taken May 14, 2013 and represent two views of the frana on both the uphill and downhill sides of the road.

The image entitled repaired frana is the current condition of a frana that was repaired and has now deteriorated.
Following on from a telephone call this morning with the assessore alla Protezione Civile Pietro Onesti,it would seem that work on resolving this problem with be started within the next 30 days. Onesti pointed out that the question is not about lack of attention but quite simply lack of finances.
