The newly renovated and restored circular flowerbed in Piazza Salvo Salvi was the location for an impromptu concert, the first of the summer season, by members of the Aristodemo’s.
No posters, no publicity, nobody knew it was going to happen – apparently not even all the members of the group, as the singer Andrea was “missing in action” and so it was an instrumental only version of the group that played.
Some visitors to Barga wandered into the piazza and finding live music sat down to listen to the concert for a couple of hours as the sun shone and the swallows dove in and out of the piazza.
Looks like that would have sounded good. I see that summer has finally arrived, the beard has gone into summer hibernation
