12 months ago this week, we published an article (here) with the following text: “The Piazzette, the festa del centro storico 2012 all set to go. Forty concerts over a period of the next ten days, featuring live musicians or all types, hues, colours and persuasions. The festa has this year made a huge jump in quality and quantity and thinking about it, is just one step away from becoming a full blown music festival in its own right. Maybe next year, a large concert with some big names on the Fosso and the transformation will be complete”
So a year later and here we are once again, writing about the upcoming Festa del Centro Storico – Live in Barga 2013 and yes, it looks as though that prediction of a full-blown music festival in its own right is just about ready to become fact.
This year, 48 concerts on the menu.
The quality of music, once again, extremely high.
It’s going to be a busy next couple of weeks.
