Not one but but two encores before the packed audience in Piazza Angelio would let the Note Noir off the stage and even then there were calls across the piazza for another – encore.
A perfect ending to a long day of music in Barga Vecchia …. but then who said anything about an ending ?
The final part of the music day was still to come – The Enojazz sessions at the now refurbished for the event – Villa Libano.
It’s going to be a very long couple of weeks and only the very fit will survive at this pace.

Un concerto attraverso i suoni e le forme delle tradizioni zingare che hanno percorso l’Europa nel Novecento: dalle czardas ungheresi al valse musette, passando per lo swing e le hora rumene.
Se c’è una regione prolifica dal punto di vista del Gipsy Jazz , quella è sicuramente la Toscana. Se c’è un gruppo che si è contraddistinto per la riproposizione, del jazz dei nomadi, non fedele ma pensata ed ampliata secondo la visione di musicisti mediterranei, questi sono sicuramente i NOTE NOIRE, quartetto dalla già molto prolifica attività dal vivo e con un notevole curriculum. I Note Noire sono un quartetto che unisce nel suo repertorio il mondo musicale mediterraneo con quello mitteleuropeo. – source
