The Centro Sportivo Comunale Gino Pellegrini, otherwise known as the Tennis Club in Barga Giardino was the scene today for a series of work being done on some of the high trees which surround the club.
One had already recently fallen over into the road luckily causing no damage but blocking traffic for a couple of hours before it was removed.
Today was the turn of some of the others which have grown to an impressive height, to be cropped or chopped to make the area safe in high winds or as recently happened, during heavy snowfall.
