One of those strange events which surface in Barga every now and again … a torchlight procession, a Fiaccolata but with a difference.
It’s all in the title: Fiaccolata Alcolica – The alcoholic torchlight procession.
A group of people walking from bar to bar around the city and drinking an alcoholic drink at each stop.
Their t-shirts printed with the names of each bar and as each one is reached, a mark looking suspiciously like red wine placed over each name to prove that they had actually been there.
