As the sun went down this evening and dark clouds moved across the valley, something less natural was added to the scene – a looming pall of black smoke which gradually spread across the whole valley coming from the direction of Gallicano.
It turned out to be the Bricchettaggio which had caught fire and was sending out the black smoke until the fare was controlled and put out 30 minutes later.
