After a couple of months of fierce polemic through many sections of Barga life, the redesigned and renovated Barga Giardino was opened officially to the public this afternoon.
Cutting the ribbon along with the Mayor of Barga, Marco Bonini was the senatore Andrea Marcucci, l’assessore Pietro Onesti, l’assessore regionale Marco Remaschi and consigliere regionali Ilaria Giovannetti and Stefano Baccelli.
As you can hear (in Italiano) on the recording below of the Mayor of Barga Marco Bonini, the polemic was at some stages fierce but in the end the administration prevailed and the project was completed.
Now time will tell if the public agree with his decision that what was presented today is an improvement on what was Barga Giardino in the past.
