Yesterday we published images of the classic “cavallone della tramontana” which was stationed on the mountains behind Barga
The fast moving cloud formations, one of natures spectacular shows of strength but one best seen from a distance as the wind speeds up on the mountainside would have made life a little difficult for anybody moving around up there.
This morning the cavallone had gone but left lying on the tops of the mountains was a light dusting of snow – the first of the season.
