There was a light dusting of snow on the mountain tops around Barga one morning just a couple of weeks ago but it did not last long once the sun rose and evaporated it before midday but last night there was some serous snow fall on all of the mountain tops around Barga including La Pania – Apuani, 1859 metres above sea level and Il Giovo – Appennino at 1.991 metres above sea level
