This evening Piazza Salvo Salvi in Barga Vecchia was filled with people enjoying the third of series of events which will take place all through the summer season – the Aristo’s Corner Festiva.
Organised by the dynamic crew at the Da Aristo bar the opening concert was by the house band, The Aristodemos who as usual performed their mix of Italian swing. Last week is was the turn of songster Mattia Galanti and his “serata scanzonata”
This week it was the turn of the Baldo degli Ubaldi Quartet … who interestingly seems to actually have 5 members ??
The Aristo’s Corner Festival had as it main aim to promote new and emerging young talent and apart from the ageing and slightly worn members of the Aristodemos, the assembled crowds during the summer will get precisely that as a succession of new musicians to Barga will perform in the piazza.
