A surprise for Giovanni, Antonella, Federica, Hassna and Lorenzo at the Da Aristo bar in Barga Vecchia this afternoon as a highly detailed small painting was added to their already growing collection adorning the walls of Barga’s unofficial cultural centre.
The artist was Suzanne L. Roberts from West Danville, Vermont, USA who completed the painting based on an image from her last trip to the city.
A quick look at her facebook page reveals that she has painted other works based on Barga Vecchia and is here in the city investigating her history as her family were originally from Barga before emigrating to the states
With an incredible eye for detail she has also painted an image based on the live webcam in Keane’s studio.
