Fourteen years ago we published an article here on barganews about local musician, Geoff Collins White and his history of making music which stretched back right not just to his time with Jacks Pack, The Beagles or Grizzly but in fact to the start of the swinging sixties in London, UK with a band called the A-JAES.
In that article it was mentioned that a compilation disc of music from that era featuring a track from the A-JAES had recently been released containing an A-JAES song written by Trevor White – “I’m leaving you”
This week comes news that after a mere break of sixty years, a record company called “Just Add Water Records” has released a 45 rpm vinyl disc of the band with 4 tracks including a completely unreleased 1965 acetate recording.
Technical note: Sourced from a one-of-a kind 1965 acetate and an original 1964 single. Great care was taken to preserve the musicality of the original recordings, whilst giving the listener the best quality sound. Minimal surface noise is present but retains the full dynamic range as intended.

Quattordici anni fa abbiamo pubblicato un articolo qui su barganews riguardo al musicista locale, Geoff Collins White, e alla sua storia musicale che risale non solo al suo tempo con Jacks Pack, The Beagles o Grizzly, ma in realtà all’inizio degli anni ’60 a Londra, Regno Unito, con una band chiamata gli A-JAES.
In quell’articolo veniva menzionato che era stato recentemente rilasciato un disco di compilation di musica di quell’epoca con un brano degli A-JAES contenente una canzone degli A-JAES scritta da Trevor White – “I’m leaving you”.
Questa settimana arriva la notizia che, dopo una pausa di soli sessant’anni, una casa discografica americana chiamata “Just Add Water Records” ha rilasciato un disco in vinile a 45 giri della band con 4 tracce, tra cui una registrazione in acetato del 1965 completamente inedita.
Nota tecnica: Derivato da un acetato unico del 1965 e un singolo originale del 1964. È stata prestata grande attenzione per preservare la musicalità delle registrazioni originali, offrendo all’ascoltatore la migliore qualità sonora. È presente un minimo rumore di superficie ma conserva l’intera gamma dinamica come previsto.
Just Add Water Records – Musica adeguata per persone discutibili. Non solo un’etichetta, siamo letteralmente una società di conservazione.
