In the newer part of the town there is one of the oldest
shops where the men of Barga, down through the generations, have
gathered to swop stories, exchange ideas, boast, shout, talk
about politics, football, mushrooms, wild boar, the weather,
sometimes even the topic of women crops up and occasionally during
rare monents, they even do what they are supposed to be doing
there …….getting
their hair cut! Yes, we are talking about Chiappa’s the barber
shop.
