Music Across Barga Vecchia on the Second Evening of Le Piazzette
By its second evening, Le Piazzette 2026 had settled into its familiar rhythm, with music drifting between the piazzas, gardens and narrow streets of Barga Vecchia.
Each part of the historic centre offered something different. Velvet Dream performed at Piazzetta Penarol, which this year had moved from Piazza delle Mura to the Bastione and Fosso area. At Parco Kennedy, the new home of Piazzetta G. Summer, the evening’s music came from Sobersouls.
Manolo Strimpelli appeared at Piazzetta Randagia, created by the Gatti Randagi between the terraces of the Stanze della Memoria and the gardens of the former Asilo Donnini. Gold 5 played at Sunset Beach in the Misericordia gardens, while Tipi Strani entertained the public at Bruskettando in Piazza del Teatro.
B&F performed at Scacciaguai, and Piazza del Comune hosted another musical evening.

Below the Duomo, parish volunteers once again welcomed visitors to Vignola, one of the longest-established and most popular meeting places during Le Piazzette.
The bars and restaurants of Barga Vecchia added their own menus, music and entertainment to the evening. Among those taking part were Scacciaguai, Trattoria L’Altana, L’Osteria, Da Alfonso, Caffè Capretz, Fuori dal Comune, Da Aristo, Caffè La Volta, Ristorante Giro di Boa, Wine Not!, Bolla, Momenti di Vino, Bar Certe Notti and Pizzeria Indie.
Although food and live music remained at the centre of the festival, the evening also gave visitors an opportunity to explore Barga Vecchia itself. Galleries, exhibitions, museums and other cultural spaces remained part of a programme that spread throughout the historic centre rather than being confined to a single stage or venue.
Organised by Pro Loco Barga and the Comune di Barga, with the support of local associations and businesses, Le Piazzette will continue for eleven consecutive evenings.
A shuttle bus runs each evening from 7 pm until midnight, connecting parking areas near the sports grounds and other locations outside the centre with the entrances to Barga Vecchia.
La musica anima Barga Vecchia nella seconda serata delle Piazzette
Alla seconda serata, Le Piazzette 2026 avevano ormai trovato il loro ritmo, con la musica che si diffondeva tra le piazze, i giardini e le strette vie di Barga Vecchia.
Ogni angolo del centro storico offriva qualcosa di diverso. I Velvet Dream si sono esibiti alla Piazzetta Penarol, trasferita quest’anno da Piazza delle Mura alla zona del Bastione e del Fosso. Al Parco Kennedy, nuova sede della Piazzetta G. Summer, la musica della serata è stata affidata ai Sobersouls.
Manolo Strimpelli si è esibito alla Piazzetta Randagia, allestita dai Gatti Randagi tra le terrazze delle Stanze della Memoria e i giardini dell’ex Asilo Donnini. I Gold 5 hanno suonato al Sunset Beach nei giardini della Misericordia, mentre i Tipi Strani hanno animato Bruskettando in Piazza del Teatro.

Sotto il Duomo, i volontari della parrocchia hanno nuovamente accolto il pubblico a Vignola, uno dei luoghi di ritrovo più conosciuti e frequentati delle Piazzette.
Anche i bar e i ristoranti di Barga Vecchia hanno contribuito alla serata con i propri menù, musica e intrattenimento. Tra le attività partecipanti c’erano Scacciaguai, Trattoria L’Altana, L’Osteria, Da Alfonso, Caffè Capretz, Fuori dal Comune, Da Aristo, Caffè La Volta, Ristorante Giro di Boa, Wine Not!, Bolla, Momenti di Vino, Bar Certe Notti e Pizzeria Indie.
Sebbene il cibo e la musica dal vivo siano rimasti al centro della manifestazione, la serata ha offerto anche l’occasione di scoprire Barga Vecchia. Gallerie, mostre, musei e altri spazi culturali facevano parte di un programma diffuso in tutto il centro storico, senza essere concentrato in un unico palco o luogo.
Organizzate dalla Pro Loco Barga e dal Comune di Barga, con il sostegno delle associazioni e delle attività locali, Le Piazzette proseguiranno per undici serate consecutive.
Ogni sera, dalle 19 fino a mezzanotte, è attivo un servizio di bus navetta che collega i parcheggi nei pressi degli impianti sportivi e altre zone esterne al centro con i diversi ingressi di Barga Vecchia.
