The sixth evening of Le Piazzette 2026 was brought to an early end by a thunderstorm that reached Barga at around 10 pm, just as some of the musicians were preparing to take to the stage.
Five groups had been scheduled to perform at venues across Barga Vecchia, but the sudden change in the weather meant that not all of them were able to play:

Before the concerts began, the evening had also brought an unexpected moment. A small procession, accompanied by musical instruments and colourful messages dedicated to peace, arrived unannounced in the piazzas of Barga Vecchia. The group stopped to sing a song for peace, briefly involving those gathered along the route, before continuing through the historic centre.
As on previous evenings, Le Piazzette offered more than live music. Museums, galleries, exhibitions and other cultural spaces remained open, allowing visitors to discover the art and history of the historic centre as they moved between the different events.
The sixth evening marked the halfway point in the festival’s eleven-night programme, organised by Pro Loco Barga and the Comune di Barga in collaboration with local associations and businesses.
The evening shuttle service will continue throughout the festival, running from 7 pm until midnight and connecting the parking areas near the sports grounds, other points outside the centre and the entrances to Barga Vecchia.
La sesta serata de Le Piazzette 2026 è stata interrotta in anticipo da un temporale che ha raggiunto Barga intorno alle 22, proprio mentre alcuni dei musicisti si preparavano a salire sul palco.
Cinque gruppi erano in programma nei diversi punti di Barga Vecchia, ma l’improvviso cambiamento del tempo ha impedito ad alcuni di loro di esibirsi:

Prima dell’inizio dei concerti, la serata aveva riservato anche un momento inatteso. Un piccolo corteo di persone, accompagnato da strumenti musicali e da messaggi colorati dedicati alla pace, è arrivato senza preavviso tra le piazze di Barga Vecchia. Il gruppo si è fermato per intonare un canto per la pace, coinvolgendo per qualche minuto chi si trovava lungo il percorso, prima di riprendere il proprio cammino attraverso il centro storico.
Come nelle sere precedenti, Le Piazzette non ha offerto soltanto musica dal vivo. Musei, gallerie, mostre e altri spazi culturali sono rimasti aperti, permettendo ai visitatori di scoprire l’arte e la storia del centro storico mentre si spostavano tra i diversi appuntamenti.
La sesta serata ha segnato il giro di boa delle undici serate del festival, organizzato dalla Pro Loco Barga e dal Comune di Barga in collaborazione con le associazioni e le attività locali.
Il servizio serale di navetta continuerà per tutta la durata della manifestazione, dalle 19 a mezzanotte, collegando i parcheggi nella zona degli impianti sportivi, altri punti esterni al centro e gli ingressi di Barga Vecchia.
