Priest blesses crowd from Harley Chopper

Don Giovanni stands on the back of a"chopped"Harley Davidson and rides along blessing the assembled motorbikes and their riders at San Pelligrino ìn Alpe, 1480 metres above sea level in Garfagnana. The annual event this year drew more than 500 motorbikes to the tiny mountain village normally used in the winter as a ski resort or in the summer as a place to enjoy calm, nature and the mountain air. The mountain air today was rent with the sound of hundreds of motorbikes roaring off back down the mountainside leaving the place once more quiet and peaceful until next year
