Over the past 6 years we have published many articles about Chairart (they can be seen here) – at the very start of the project it was 20 white chairs and 20 possibilities to decorate the chairs by 20 different people.
In 2015 Chairart celebrated its 6th year since inception. To date there has been a total of 149 participants and 255 artifacts have been produced and exhibited across the Garfagnana on 40 different occasions.
This year once again, the chairs are back in Barga.
Last week they could be seen (article here) in the new gallery space in the ex Farmacia Simonini opposite the carpark at Fosso and now this week they have moved to the Palazzo Pancrazi in Barga Vecchia – (they can be seen on their site here)
Chair art previous editions: 2010, 2011, 2012 , 2013
