Sometime over the past month somebody entered a house in Barga Vecchia and dismantled the gas boiler for the heating and hot water system and walked away with it.
The owners of the house only discovered the lost when attempting to use the shower and only cold water arrived. They checked in their cantina and were shocked to find the complete boiler had been removed.
The Carabinieri have been informed and investigations are now under way.
