The Celebrations for St Christopher the Patron Saint of Barga which started with the “San Cristoforo d’oro”awards ceremony earlier this afternoon, continued into the evening with a long torchlight procession through the streets of Barga up to the Duomo.
Led by the Bishop of the Diocese of Pisa Msgr. Paolo Benotto who was accompanied by the various local companies from the churches, the Calcio Storico Fiorentino, various comunes of the province and beyond, associations and bands.

Le celebrazioni in onore di San Cristoforo, il Santo Patrono di Barga, hanno avuto inizio con la cerimonia di premiazione del “San Cristoforo d’oro” nel pomeriggio di oggi, e sono proseguite durante la serata con una lunga processione di fiaccole per le strade di Barga fino al Duomo.
Guidata dal Vescovo della Diocesi di Pisa, Mons. Paolo Benotto, che era accompagnato dalle diverse compagnie locali delle chiese, dal Calcio Storico Fiorentino, dalle varie comunità della provincia e oltre, nonché da associazioni e bande musicali.
