The unofficial cultural centre of Barga vecchia – the Da Aristo bar has just added another viewpoint to the piazza Salvo Salvi – a hand built table and benches.
The table with accompanying benches has been installed, positioned to face out towards the piazza. Constructed from solid chestnut, the table top has been cut and finished by hand, its surface retaining the irregularities and markings of the material. The legs, equally substantial, give the structure a grounded and functional presence.
The overall effect is deliberately simple — a piece that might best be described as decidedly rustic, both in construction and in appearance.

Il centro culturale non ufficiale di Barga Vecchia – il bar Da Aristo – ha appena aggiunto un nuovo punto di osservazione su Piazza Salvo Salvi: un tavolo e delle panche costruiti a mano.
Il tavolo, con le panche abbinate, è stato installato e posizionato in modo da affacciarsi verso la piazza. Realizzato in legno massiccio di castagno, il piano è stato tagliato e rifinito a mano, mantenendo sulla superficie le irregolarità e i segni naturali del materiale. Le gambe, altrettanto robuste, conferiscono alla struttura una presenza solida e funzionale.
L’effetto complessivo è volutamente semplice — un elemento che si può definire decisamente rustico, sia nella costruzione che nell’aspetto.
